23 robotics teams from Cleveland county schools are competing Friday March 14th at Gardner Webb University at RoboCleveland.
The teams of fourth through eighth grade students have worked the past 7 months to design, build and program custom robots for the RoboCleveland competition. The students will have 2 minutes and 30 seconds to score as many points as possible! In addition to the robot runs, the students will also be competing in the areas of research project presentation and team work challenges. The robotics team with the best overall score will be awarded the RoboCleveland 2014 Champions Trophy.
The competition will be held at Gardner Webb University at the Paul Porter Arena Center on March 14th. The robot runs will start at 9am. The last robot runs will finish at 1pm followed by the awards ceremony where we will announce our 2014 RoboCleveland Champion!
